Paralogues must be detected before collapsing (FindMyFriends)

Hi,
I am trying to run FindMyFriends with the Fasta files I have from Prodigal. However, when I try to group the genes, it fails, saying:

collapseParalogues(pg, combineInfo='largest')
Error in .local(object, ...) :
Paralogues must be detected before collapsing

What may I be doing wrong? Thank you in advance for the help.
