package ‘RSTAR’ was installed before R 4.0.0: please re-install it

Hi folks, I can't seem to get around the following problem. RSTAR is not available on CRAN but the source files are available on the writer's researchgate.

Installing package into ‘C:/Users/userme/AppData/Local/R/win-library/4.3’
(as ‘lib’ is unspecified)
package ‘RSTAR’ successfully unpacked and MD5 sums checked
> library(RSTAR)
Error: package or namespace load failed for ‘RSTAR’:
 package ‘RSTAR’ was installed before R 4.0.0: please re-install it

You might be out of luck here. I looked at the package at ResearchGate and it only contains binaries for Windows, built with R 3.2.1. There is no source code. Could not find it anywhere else, nothing on GitHub. It seems that the author is not willing to share it. It is probably best to find another package to do the same job.
