Package list emtpy

Hi,
I often I have the problem, that the package list will be empty.
Until now, I have to drop the PostgreSQL data base to fix it, because
rspm sync
only say "CRAN synchronization complete." but no packages are listed in the ui.
But I think, this will not be the right way.
Have some one see such an problem?
