Optimal version of R studio for Mac IOS 11.7.10

I've got a 2013 MacBook Pro, and I'm wondering which version of R studio would be best to download... Any advice?

In looking through the archive, it looks like RStudio 2023.09 is the last one that says "macos 11+. So I would start there, then work towards older releases if it doesn't work.

Alternatively, you could use something like VirtualBox to load a modern Linux variant, then use one of the current versions of RStudio.
