Onyl AGG backend graphic device work in RStudio

Hi,
My issue is that RStudio only works if the backend graphic device is set to AGG.
If I run any plot command while the device is set to default, the console runs for infinity, but nothing happens. The problem is that the same error appears if I render a plot in a .rmd file: the code can not be executed after any plot command.

(spec: M1 Mac 2021)

Any help?
