Hello Posit Cloud and shinyapps.io users,

This is a notice that effective today, Posit Cloud and shinyapps.io will be dropping support for rsconnect versions below 1.0.1. If you encounter an error as follows, please update your version of rsconnect to the latest available.

The rsconnect package is out of date.
 Please update to the latest available on CRAN.

Update 8/24: 1.0.1 is no longer required for shinyapps.io. The minimum rsconnect version required to deploy to shinyapps.io is 0.8.29.

I have problem with deploying my .env file: It is no longer among the files I can select. Does anyone has same problem?
