I am doing my first own regression analysis and I have a question in regards to my variables. I want to look at the effect of extreme weather on global crop yields and also how (the difference in crop yields) it affects international trade.
Is it possible to combine these into one regression analysis or will I have to do two separate models?

You can use Multivariate Multiple Regression. See the thread below (R code is at the very end of the slide-deck linked to in the answer).
