Same issue - the reason is they haven't updated the server to support the latest R version (4.4.2). It's been a month. I've asked elsewhere for an update, nothing so far.
Related point - it would be VERY useful to be able to easily see which version of R the server currently supports. I wouldn't have updated to 4.4.2. if I'd known this would happen (rolling back is turning out to be a pain!)
Just wanted to echo others concerns. I am finding it infeasible to revert to older versions of R while maintaining all needed dependencies.
