On a Windows 11 machine, when opening RStudio

console contains following information after (what seems) a long start-up time, without any keystrokes on my part:
I think that did the trick. Only a single start-up message from R.
Slightly jarring to open RStudio to not see a bunch of tabs filled with scripts and Quarto documents of various flavours I've been working with, but I think I can find all those bits and pieces.
If you backed up the directory contents, you can try restoring portions and see if the problem remains resolved. That would get back some (most?) of your normal routine.
