moonplot in ggplot?

Dear all,
is there a way / idea how to draw moonplot as a replacement for biplot (correspondence analysis etc.) with ggplot2?

I am thinking to use it for multiple correspondence analysis - the traditional biplot can be quite messy especially when one wants to overlay clustering over individual scores.

Thank you, I mean another kind of chart, a replacement for biplot, in this style: Moonplots: A Better Visualization for Brand Maps - Displayr
...just the name of the plot is similar
