I will be going into a first year program in Statistics which will require us to use R/Rstudio. I was wondering if an M2 MacBook Air/Pro would be able to run these programs. I know it took some time for M1 to be compatible. Will it also take time for R/Rstudio to be able to run on M2? I am going to school in September and new to R. Thanks
The change from Intel to M1 meant a completely different architecture (x86_64 to arm64). M1 and M2 are both Apple silicon (arm64), so no problems.
