Last month I moved my Shiny app to Posit Cloud. When I try to view it, I'm required to log in. I want this to be visible to the public. For the past month no login was required. Now the public is prevented from seeing it. What's changed and why, and how can I make it visible to anyone?
Here's the solution. This is the URL for the admin version of the site which requires a log in: https:///connect.posit.cloud/kilonovember/ content/0199ed91-4e4c-da96-de0f-1692461dcb8e (Excuse the extra / in https:/// and the space in kilonovember/ content. Without these the bare text of the URL is converted into a link where the full address cannot be seen.) The URL which will lead to the public version of the site is https:///0199ed91-4e4c-da96-de0f-1692461dcb8e.share.connect.posit.cloud/. Note the first part of this has the extra / which you will have to remove. The first part is the GUID from the admin URL (the part following content/). The second part is .share.connect.posit.cloud/. If you experience a similar problem, use this pattern to resolve it.
