Line plot for a journal

Postoperative day	VTE	Hemorrhage
Day 1-4	2	6
Day 5-8	2	3
Day 9-12	1	1
Day 13-16	1	0

I am having trouble with creating line graph that would look nice for publication in journal. X-axis should represent interval of day, and on y-axis there should be two different lines one representing VTE values and other representing Haemorrhage values. Can someone help me generate a nice line plot using R?
