.Last.value disappeared

After updating RStudio I no longer see .Last.value in the Environment panel.
In Global Options | General | Advanced | Other I have indicated that I want to include that variable.
I regularly update to the latest version of RStudio that is offered and I don't recall to have seen the issue before. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to restore RStudio’s old behaviour?

My current version is
RStudio 2026.04.0+526 "Globemaster Allium" Release (57f8932a2d8c5a4a8c0d30ad918ec77f9f2dacaa, 2026-04-18) for windows Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64)

With the latest version
RStudio 2026.06.0+242 "Blue Plumbago" Release (d1dc28bb95f3e35b4c9d1d7536cb1da6de4d7aa7, 2026-06-18) for windows Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64)
the problem no longer occurs.

Yup, this was a bug introduced in 2026.04, now fixed in latest releases: Issue · GitHub.
