knit hook to add date to markdown document name disables notebook preview

Hi,
When adding the code to attach the current date to a knitted html markdown output, the knit button in Studio looses the options other than "knit" and i can no longer preview the document. Am I doing something incorrectly or is there a work around? Here's a sample YAML header.

When you customize the knit button using this option, you will loose the other option that are in fact other renderering function. This is because you set the knit button to a specific rendering function.

Unfortunately I think you can't have both...
