Abstract: Data visualization app for a long term ecological monitoring program.
Full Description: This web application has been developed solely by Cullen Molitor, a seasonal biologist for the KFM program (3 survey seasons so far) at Channel Islands National Park. This is my first attempt at a shiny application. This project was undertaken in order to learn R in the off season. I soon had a working app that I hoped could provide a basic tool to give perspective on the long-term data while writing notes in the field. It has now shifted focus to also include an educational component with hopes of making real ecological and oceanographic data available and accessible to classrooms. If you have any suggestions or tips, comments on design or layout, or if you notice any problems, please email me at cullen.molitor@gmail.com.
