Kable style getting stripped when sent via email using Blastula

Hello,

Very similar to this issue (Kable table not rendering properly in mail), I am using the R Blastula package to send a styled kable table (using kableExtra) by email. While the styling shows up locally, when sent via email, the style is stripped.
