having an issue downloading R and Studio to my Mac, it is currently on the latest software. I dowload the program and when i hit install it says "R 4.3.1 for macOS (ARM64) can’t be installed on this computer"
any tips or tricks to adress this
Check your options to download R again; differnt Apple devices are based on different architecture; I suspect you dont have an ARM64 device; perhaps theres another option for your to choose
Newer mac computers with an m1 or m2 processor (Apple silicon) use the ARM64 version of R while older models with an Intel cpu use the x86_64 version.
The last few versions of RStudio have been universal apps, which means it runs on both processors.
so your saying i shouldnt be having an issue lol
