I think what the original poster is looking for is a solution for converting a Jupyter Notebook to Quarto, which would be readable and formatted nicely in RStudio.
In the terminal:
quarto convert basics-jupyter.ipynb # converts to qmd
quarto convert basics-jupyter.qmd # converts to ipynb
