Is there a LaTeX (PDF) solution to creating templates similar to Posterdown

I'm wondering, are there any existing templates/solutions that are similar to posterdown (Use RMarkdown to generate PDF Conference Posters via HTML or LaTeX) however in LaTeX/PDF format as opposed to HTML?

I'd love to take their templates and just do some simple customisations on them (such as changing the color of the header from the default green to maroon for example). It would probably be easier to do it in LaTeX hence why I'm looking for that alternative, as opposed to CSS.
