Is RStudio Windows 10 only now?

Hello,

I tried installing the blogdown package but I believe my version of R is too old - R version 3.6.2 (2019-12-12). So naturally, I decided to update it but now the new version is no longer compatible with my version of RStudio! I looked online for the latest RStudio update but it seems to be Windows 10 only. I am running Windows 8 and I have no interest in installing Windows 10. Am I missing something here?

You can install the latest RStudio version on Windows 8 as long as you have a 64-bit version of Windows.

RStudio is 64-bit only

Sorry for the second reply; I forgot to include an important detail. The reason I was confused was because on the RStudio download page, it lists only "Windows 10" under "OS". Just my opinion, but it should really say "Windows"
