What would you read this legend?
By column (i.e. read left column, and then right column) or by row? If it was by row, then assume the green Column 6 item would read as Column 2 etc.
How do you think most people would prefer read this?
With that number of different measures included in the chart I would read vertically/down the column. If it was four or fewer measures, then I'd read horizontally/across the rows. Six measures would be a crap-shoot.
