ETIA (Elliptical Tube Interactive App) is an interactive Shiny application built on the ETRep R package for modeling and analyzing 3D tube-like structures through skeletal representations.
ETIA enables users to:
- Generate and visualize 3D elliptical tubes using user-defined parameters.
- Perform geometric transformations between tubular objects.
- Explore shape analysis under the Relative Curvature Condition (RCC).
- Download 3D mesh objects (.obj) for further modeling or visualization.

Background
The ETRep framework provides mathematical tools for analyzing elliptical tubes — 3D objects parameterized by skeletal curves and cross-sections.
It is particularly suited for biomedical applications (e.g., colon, airway, or vessel morphology) and for shape statistics of tubular structures.
