installation of Posit Connect Cloud app to a private Github repository is not finalized

I have signed up for a paid account on Posit Connect Cloud, with the purpose of deploying Shiny Python dashboards that are in a private Github repository.

I am still stuck at one of the first steps, namely "install the Posit Connect Cloud app into your GitHub account".

After I am selecting the Github repo and click on Save button, it goes to next page and a "Loading..." image shows up and stays like that for more than 30 minutes.

Any suggestions on how to address this?
