Install an ancient version of R

Hi !

I updated my R software and.. some packages don't work anymore.
I think one solution could be to install an older version of R (like 4.0.2) but I don't understand how I can do this, can somebody help me ? The packages i have trouble with are glmmTMB and MKmisc
My Os is a Mac with a M1 CPU.

Hi there,

You can install an older version of R and this something many of us often do depending on where an application has been snapshotted. Here is a link where you can see how to change it for Mac: https://support.rstudio.com/hc/en-us/articles/200486138-Changing-R-versions-for-the-RStudio-Desktop-IDE

You can also make use of the checkpoint package to install a specific version etc: CRAN - Package checkpoint
