Import local dataset

I am a newbe to R studio on the cloud. I am trying to upload a local dataset. Following an earlier answer when I click on the Upload link under File on the right bottom, it only points to the cloud directory, but no option to select from a local directory on my laptop. What am I missing. And this is my first posting here as well. So please correct me.

I think you are just choosing the wrong option, after pressing on the "Upload" button you have to press the "Select File" button, not on " Browse".

Thank you. As newbe even the obvious escapes me. Now I can work on some of the data Imhave gathered.
