This is an assignment for a class, and I typed all my scripts of code plus all my written responses inside the R Markdown file. I also changed the "author" to my name and the date to the date I started working on it (2/24/2020). Once I finished the assignment, I tried knitting to PDF, and not only did the PDF appear as if I had never even started the project, but the R Markdown looked exactly the same. Everything I did is literally gone except the storage and my code in the history. But the R Markdown file itself looks to have reverted back to an untouched state despite me working on it all week. I'm not sure how it happened, but is there any way to fix it? Thanks.
