human mortality read functions

Hello,

Since mortality.org change its site, it seems R function to read data are not working anymore. Could please provide some help to read again the data?

That's in the demography package?
I am afraid I am no help as I don't use it but are you getting any error messages?

Hi,

I encountered the same problem while working with demography package: as a result of the mortlity.org update on 16/06, the hmd.mx function does not work properly anymore. Did you manage to solve the issue?
Any suggestions?

Hi Vito,

I managed a work around. I downloaded the data in txt from mortality.org, read into R the usual way and create a demogdata object.
