Hugo blogdown Twitter shortcode not rendering

Hello!

I am having issues rendering the blogdown shortcode function. This is what I am trying:

blogdown::shortcode('tweet', '1228139634871472129')

And this is how it renders: {{% tweet "1228139634871472129" %}}

I appreciate any guidance! Thank you.

The theme is Mediumish. Information from blogdown:

> blogdown::hugo_version()
[1] ‘0.83.1’

> blogdown::check_site()

That sounds like a bug, although I'm not sure whose bug it is. I can take a look if this is your source post: pipedream/you-cran-do-it.Rmd at master · ivelasq/pipedream · GitHub

That'd be great! Thanks so much!

Maëlle helped me solve this (thanks Maëlle!). I changed the method to blogdown.method = 'markdown' in .Rprofile and now it is rendering correctly. Appreciate you taking a look!

Yes, that would work. I was just wondering why blogdown.method = 'html' wouldn't work and haven't investigated yet. Anyway, I'm glad you problem has been solved!
