How to run R Studio Server on Windows Server 2012R2?

Hello everyone,

My company has purchased R Studio Server Pro v1.2.5019 and we want to run it on Windows Server 2012R2. But the only platforms available seem to be Linux platforms.

My questions are as follows:

  1. Is it possible to install and run R Studio Server on Windows, without having to use Red Hat or some other virtual machine?
  2. If this is not possible, where can I find the system requirements of R Studio Server if I want to use Red Hat? We now have Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server v 7.7.

RStudio server products are only supported on Linux-based platforms, as described in the Requirements for RStudio Professional Products page, where you can find a link to the list of supported operating systems. Both Red Hat 7 and 8 are supported.
