How to install R on 32-bit Linux Chromebook

Greetings

I am having issues installing R on my 32-bit acer chromebook which has Debian 10 (Buster) as Linux. Even though I have followed the guidelines to find an older version of R through the Rstudio.com when I try to install it through Linux it shows the below:

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
rstudio: Depends: libjpeg62 but it is not installable
Depends: libedit2 but it is not installable
Depends: libssl1.0.0 but it is not installable or
libssl1.0.2 but it is not installable
Depends: libgstreamer0.10-0 but it is not installable
Depends: libgstreamer-plugins-base0.10-0 but it is not installable
Depends: libc6 (>= 2.7) but it is not installable
Recommends: r-base (>= 2.11.1) but it is not installable

I have tried multiple suggestions from various blogs but nothing appears to function.

Hi @Kevin_Simoni,
Welcome to the RStudio Community Forum.

First, there are some instructions here for installing the base R system on Debian 10:
https://cloud.r-project.org/bin/linux/debian

In addition, you will need to install an older version of RStudio that supports your 32-bit system. Try this one:
