How to increase width of text output in source pane?

How can I increase the width of the text output in the source pane? Alternatively, how can I position the scroll bar at the right edge of the pane?

Just place your cursor on the scroll bar and pull it to the right or completely close the outline window.

Unfortunately, on my environment the scroll bar can't be pulled to the right.

Click on the tab indicated by the red arrow. That will close the Outline .

You should be able to place your cursor on the vertical bar and get a a small double arrow that you can use to resize the right hand panes. My arrow is much larger than what you will see.
