haven package not loading

here is the error message i'm getting any help would be appreciated:

Is it an issue with the Rcpp package? Maybe try and reinstall that?

here is me trying to do that. does this look right in terms of workflow? its obviously still not working but am i doing the uninstall right?

It seems to be an issue with the CRAN version of Rcpp for MacOS systems, can you try installing this way?

install.packages("Rcpp", repos="https://rcppcore.github.io/drat")

Many packages are broken on Mac with CRAN version of Rcpp -- unless 10.11 SDK is used as on CRAN
