Have others in the international RStudio community switched to windows 10 experimental utf-8?

I am a huge RStudio fan, but still haven't found a way to deal 100% with special characters such as á or ñ...

I have read Yihui Xie's " My Biggest Regret in the knitr Package".
I then stumbled across RicardoRodriguez's "Why .libPaths() does show different values in RStudio and R in the same box and user?" where he mentions he has switched to windows 10 experimental utf-8.

His question is closed. I didn't find much info on google and wondered if others are using it and if they are happy with it.

Thank you for any clues!
