Is there a way to use glue_sql()
for mixed case and upper case names?
For example something like this
dbGetQuery(con, "SELECT \"mixedCase\" from my_table limit 5;")
from postgresql - Querying mixed case columns in SQL with R - Stack Overflow
but using glue
or something similar?
Yes, use glue_sql() with the
{`varname`}
syntax and the identifiers will be automatically quoted appropriately according to the connection type specified in .con
.
Thanks for that Jim. I realised that glue_sql()
wasn't the issue. I was creating a version of this:
I think the issue was in here:
AND isc.table_name = {s[3]};",
s = .,
But I have just decided to change the table names to lowercase.
