Hello Posit Cloud and shinyapps.io communities!
I'd like to announce a small change to better align with product boundaries and our new Posit brand. Starting today, we have migrated our Github OAuth Applications from the RStudio GitHub organization to a GitHub organization dedicated to the Posit Hosted Product offerings—Posit Hosted Services.
This change will only affect those who authenticate to Posit Cloud and shinyapps.io.io via GitHub and will not require you to re-authenticate after our migration. However, you may notice some changed visual elements the next time you trigger a fresh authentication flow via GitHub or when you identify our app in your profile settings as an authorized app.
Upon authentication, you should expect a new name and image:
In your profile, under “Authorized OAuth applications” expect a modified item to appear as:
