Posit Connect seems to remember my search terms and results every time I log into Posit Connect. Is there a setting so that Posit Connect doesn't show me the results of my last search every time I log in or open a new window? Even if I log out and log back in, it changes the URL to have q=<last_search_term> at the end. I couldn't find a setting in Posit Connect or any of the documentation.
It's not a big deal but when I launch Posit Connect, my first step is to clear the previous search results, which is kind of annoying. We have lots of apps (and growing!), so I generally have to sort through to find specific ones.
What version of Connect do you have? We made some major changes to this part of the Connect UI a few months ago — more recent versions are a lot less "sticky" for search, so an update might resolve this for you. Relatedly, if you are on a recent version of Connect and you're still seeing your search history remembered in this way, would you please share more about what you're doing?
Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. It looks like we're running version 2025.02.0, so I'll see if we can plan an upgrade soon. Are there any new features/updates since 2025.02.0 that may help me make a case for upgrading sooner rather than later (especially R-related)?
