Fonts() showing as NULL

Hi all - keeping this brief so as not to occupy anyone reading...

  • Trying to change fonts for ggplot graphic
  • Using the extrafont package
  • Done font_import() and loadfonts(device = "win")
  • fonts() showing as NULL
  • The only font I can manage to change to is "mono", which is just a random choice

Any help appreciated.

Have you considered using the showtext package? It handles several font formats like .ttf and .otf and also lets you easily integrate Google Fonts, too. I work on a Mac, but I've found showtext very easy to use for customizing typefaces in R graphs.
