Failing to load an installed package (tidycensus)

I've been using a couple of packages for a long time (tidycensus and tigris) -- but recently when I've tried to load them, I get a persistent error message that says:

I've tried to re-install the package straight from github, but no luck so far. Any suggestions greatly appreciated!
