I always get this error when trying to publish from positron on windows. even when creating a manifest file. any idea?

Sorry to hear you are running into this, I don't think you are doing anything wrong, but are bumping into an open issue we have on our side where some issues are misrepresented as "invalid bundle format".

I have a theory that the issue might be permissions related. As a test, could you make sure the .posit directory is writable and then try again?
