Continuing the discussion from RStudio can't establish a connection to R:

@englianhu A few questions:

1. Did this work with earlier versions of R and RStudio?
2. Version 1.4.1725 is an unreleased preview version. Does it work with the current stable release, 1.4.1717 Juliet Rose?
3. Are you using antivirus software?

Also, you can try the most recent 2021.09 Ghost Orchid preview build, but keep in mind that it's for testing and development purposes only.
