Edition tools and habits for coding in LaTeX, R, Python

Hello,

Suppose that I want to write a full beautiful book (300 pages) on deep learning with pictures, LaTeX, R and Python codes... it seems that there are plenty of edition options evolving in time (RSweave, RMarkdown, Jupyter...).

For now, what's the best and the most efficient solution(s) to combine with RStudio ? How to start, how to maintain codes, etc. Which compatibles softwares use with RStudio ? What are the best habits to begin with? How to be a successful author of books using RStudio?
