No. It simply means that the path to the file has changed and R can no longer find the file. If you have a file with the path:
"/home/john/RJunk"
and change it to
"/home/john/my_thesis"
your computer needs to know the new path or address.
"/home/john/RJunk/chi_sq.r"
has become
"/home/john/my_thesis/chi_sq.r"
