Some versions ago (within a year?), when I started RStudio from the terminal, the working directory was automatically set to be the directory the terminal was in (for example, ~/foo). However, now the working directory is always initially set to home (~), regardless of terminal directory. Is there some configuration option where I can restore the previous behavior? Thanks.
Iam on a Debian 11 and if I start a fresh R Session from terminal with > R I end up in the current directory. On what OS are you?
If I start a fresh R session I get the current directory. However, this doesn't happen within RStudio. This makes me think that I configured something wrong.
I'm on Arch Linux.
