Opening the data preview (clicking on the name of a dataset in the Environment tab, or using View()
) often leads to Google Chrome hanging/not responding. Is this an issue on the RStudio Cloud side, or something to do with the browser?
Its hard to say without gathering some more data. Is it possible to have the network tab open when this is happening and provide a screenshot of what you see when the hang happens?

Also, how large a dataset are you attempting to view?
I have tried opening the network tab, but I'm not sure what would be useful from that. I don't see anything particular happening before/during/after the freeze. My suspicion is that it is related to the computers in the classroom I am using (the dataset loads fine on my office computer) so I'll try to take it up with local IT. Thanks for your help!
