'data-raw' folder in a package

Hello,

I'm doing a package and R CMD CHECK claims that the data-raw folder is non-standard at the top-level. Is it new? Where should I put this folder then, in inst?

Did you create data-raw manually or with {usethis}?

If you created it manually, you need to add the following line to .Rbuildignore:

^data-raw$
