I've created a powerpoint template based on my organisations layout that i'm using in my Rmarkdown document. I have successfully created the .pptx document with the parameters in the YAML for 'title', 'subtitle', 'author' and 'date' but i would also want to add a custom 'footer' on each slide.
Anyone know if this is possible?
Unfortunately, I don't think that is possible right now using Pandoc which is the tool that we are using with R Markdown to convert to PPTX.
You can only customize footer in the reference document that you can use with your R Markdown.
However, there are some tools in the R ecosytem that would allow you to post process your PPTX.
