Abstract: COVID-19 is a virus that spreads extremely fast. "COVID-19 in derivatives" allows to monitor key features of this "very" fast process. The features are: i) the current amount of infected people, ii) the rate of infectability and iii) the change of this rate of infectability. In formal mathematics, that is the zero, first and second derivative of the growing phenomena.

Full Description: Most indicators about COVID-19 shows current values of people infected, deceases and recovers. Monitoring those parameters is, indeed, a key input for taking action in logistic activities associated to the healthy policies.

"COVID-19 in derivatives" brings more information useful for logistic planning. The key information brought by "COVID-19 in derivatives" is the rate of change of the number of persons getting infected at some point in time, per country (first derivative). If the rate of change is too high, severe actions need to be taken to avoid the widespread. Further analysis could be made with the second derivative.
