convert csv into sav- haven problem

Hello everyone,

I want to convert a csv data file into a sav file by using the haven package (write_sav( data, path, compress = FALSE).
But I keep getting the error „write_sav_(data, normalizePath (path, mustWork= FALSE), compress = compress)“

Sometime I get an sav file, which then contains no data (0 bytes).
Is there any other way to convert it?

Thanks in advanced!!

Hi, and welcome!

A reproducible example, called a reprex will attract more useful answers.

All I can suggest is that you check your code against the help(write_save) example:

library(haven)
path <- system.file("examples", "iris.sav", package = "haven")
read_sav(path)
