The contents of some .R files will not appear in RStudio but is visible in Tinn and text editor. Assuming it has something to do with encoding?
Anyone know a solution?

What version of RStudio are you using? This sounds like a bug that was fixed in newer RStudio versions (e.g. 2022.07.2).
